This Rockhopper penguin (Eudyptes chrysocome moseleyi) is from Saint Paul Island, in the southern Indian Ocean. It's long colorful feathers are used to atract a mate during the breeding season. Once they find a mate and the season progresses, the colors will begin to fade. The long yellow plumage is found only on the Rockhopper's in this reagion and are indicitive of this sub-species.
