Sailing through Ha Long Bay on Vietnam's northern border is like stepping back in time. In ancient times, traders, pirates and military all used the maze of islands to hide from each other. Today, the bay is more of a trading hub than anything, but still it has a flavor of the past. This brief image of a junk appearing from of the fog only to disappear a moment later gave us a taste of what it must have been like in times past.
