Hauling in the catch
An angler hauls in a salmon from Brooks River. During a run, the salmon can be so numerous that it almost looks like you can walk across the river without getting your feet wet. With that many fish in the river, you would think it would be much of a challenge to catch a fish, but there's a catch. Once the salmon enter the fresh water on their way upstream, they stop feeding, so rather than temp them with food, you have to make them mad enough to strike your hook.
